Tuvalu:Introduction

• The 4th smallest country in size 

• The 2nd smallest country in population 

• The lowest country in height

Environmental Threats to Tuvalu

• Rising sea level

Due to the Global Warming and Greenhouse gases, rising sea level is getting more excess. 

• Water Scarcity

Way that Tuvalu gets water is by rain. However, this contains lots of risks. 

• La nina

Sudden increase of temperature in tropical areas resulting in sudden change.

Clean water is essential for the residents of Tuvalu. As the sea level rises, more people would not be able to access the clean water from the main land or other continents because air planes are harder to land.

We planned to donate “Quench Sea” which filters the water automatically with the reverse osmosis filters. However, due to the visa problems, we could not make it throught it. Though we finally fundrasied $1000 to tuvalu with presentations and the school events.

We as a environmental advocate group supports TUVALU and support Clean Earth.

We worked with other two schools in GEC Jeju to fundrasie Tuvalu.
